What this tool does

This tool turns a payment link into a QR code, so people can scan to pay you instead of typing a web address. Whatever payment page you already use, paste its link, set the size and colours, and download a PNG or SVG for invoices, cards, stalls, and signage.

How to use it

  1. Paste your payment link.
  2. Set the size and colours if you want.
  3. Choose PNG or SVG, create the code, and download it.

How it works

The tool encodes your payment link directly into the QR pattern, in your browser, so the code opens whatever page the link points to. It is a static code that works on its own, the same approach explained on the URL QR Code Generator page. When someone scans it, they land on your payment page and pay there, in full control of the transaction.

Paying safely

Since this involves money, two honest points are worth making. First, the code does not charge anyone automatically; it simply opens your payment page, where the payer reviews the details and confirms, so they stay in control throughout. Second, a known scam is worth knowing about on both sides: fraudsters sometimes stick their own QR sticker over a genuine one, in places like parking meters or on counters, to divert payments. So whoever is paying should glance at the page and check it is really you before confirming, and you should double-check your own link before printing and make sure displayed codes have not been tampered with. A moment's look keeps everyone safe.

Questions people ask

Does scanning charge money automatically?

No. It opens your payment page, where the payer enters or confirms the payment themselves. Nothing is charged without their action.

Is it safe?

Yes, with normal care. Because fraudsters sometimes cover real payment codes with fake stickers, payers should check they are on the right payee's page before confirming, and you should verify your own link and watch displayed codes for tampering.

Is my link uploaded?

No. The code is generated entirely in your browser, so nothing is sent to a server.
