What this tool does

This tool opens a ZIP archive and gives you the files inside. Upload a .zip and it lists each file within it as a download, so you can grab what you need. It runs entirely in your browser, with nothing uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Select your ZIP file.
  2. Press Extract Zip, and the tool reads the archive.
  3. Download the files from the links that appear. Reset clears it for another archive.

How it works

The tool opens your ZIP, reads through the files packed inside it, and turns each one into a download link for you to save. Everything happens on your device, so the archive and its contents never leave your computer.

No unzip software needed

This is the real convenience of doing it here. Normally, opening a ZIP means relying on whatever unzip tool your device happens to have, which is fine on your own computer but awkward elsewhere, on a phone, on a locked-down work machine where you cannot install software, or on a borrowed device. This tool needs none of that: any browser can open the archive and hand you the files, wherever you are. It is the quick way to pull a specific file out of a download, or to get at the contents of an archive someone sent you. And since nothing is uploaded, you can open even a ZIP full of sensitive files without it leaving your device.
