GPA Calculation Explained
The GPA represents a weighted average of individual course grades.
To compute the GPA, the weight (credit hours) of each course is multiplied by its grade, then we sum these products:
GPA = w1×g1 + w2×g2 + w3×g3 + ... + wn×gn
Each course's weight, represented as wi, is computed by dividing its credit hours (ci) by the total credit hours:
wi = ci / (c1+c2+c3+...+cn)
